Hi all, We are running FreeBSD 3.2-RELEASE as a SOCKS proxy server and mail server. This morning when I came in, I found the following error message: Oct 29 11:22:11 SMTP named[30752]: bind(dfd=20, [192.168.4.9].53): Address already in use Two additional messages appeared, same as above, but referencing the loopback address and the external IP address of the box. Can anyone tell me what generated this error message? What it means? and how to resolve it? Note that it appears that mail/proxy services are working correctly on the system. Thanks in advance for any help. T.J. Arrowsmith ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
