The patch touches nothing directly related to isppp.

All I can suggest is that you compile isdnd with the -g flag and 
look at the core file with gdb to try and identify where it is 
crashing.

I can't help directly since my -stable machine is a laptop. Of 
course, if you can set up a login for me on your machine (could 
be difficult since your ISDN doesn't work :), I could look at it 
directly.
