I ended up wiping out and reinstalling. For some reason, some of the programs require x.1.1 version of = libraries. On the other hand, I clean installed the 2.2.2 from the 4.5 cdrom = without a hitch and everything is working, video, colors, mouse, mouse = wheel, sound, cdrecord, netscape with flash plugin, even the toaster I = had in the garage! with one note though; All run well when logged in as = root. As a user, get broken:0.0 which I know I have to read up on = Xwrapper; Xfree86-4.0. Please let me know if any experience with xwrapper and how to set it up = so that the users can also use the machine using startx and their local = accounts.
