I apologize. I forgot to tell you what happened with this. Frankly, while
I was trying it last night, I could not get ctrl-alt-kaypad+ to do
anything but drop me out of X. I tried again this morning. I was able to
toggle between modes, but had no success until I switched Monitor to Super
VGA 1024x768@87Hz, 800x600@56Hz. This did the trick and I now have a fully
functional X display. Thanks a million.

Yes, I am running v2.2.5 which I ordered and received, with subsription.
I also ordered your book, which has been very informative and helpful
through the other operations I have undertaken.. Rob does not know
directly. However, my immediate manager does. On the company side, I am
helping to keep up with various improvements to FreeBSD to assist sales.
They are asked about different ports, etc. on a regular basis and need
technical feedback on them and recommendations which they can make to the
customer as well as to engineering. On a personal side, I find many of the
ported tools useful desktop and sys/net analysis tools. These, I will by
and by recommend for inclusion in our contributed tree.

I hope that answers your questions. I must say again how very grateful
I am for the assistance in resolving this problem. I will endeavor to be a
low impact user on the list :-)

-Jeff
