In general, you can find out where things are installed by taking a look at the contents of the 'pkg-plist' file in a port's directory and by tacking '/usr/local' on to it as a prefix. Of course, the port x11/XFree86-4 is an exception. -Adam Quoting ccatanzaro : > spent hours looking through cryptic manuals with bad syntax examples! > ... > I installed a lot of port software but > can't seem to be able to run or find any of it. > > Thanks > CC > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-questions-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" >
