X-BeenThere: freebsd-gnome@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.1 Precedence: list List-Id: GNOME for FreeBSD -- porting and maintaining List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sat, 26 Mar 2005 02:16:11 -0000 Can someone please point me to instructions on how to add Java and Flash to Mozilla and Epiphany. I followed the handbook sec. 6.2.2 modified by the instructions displayed that appeared as the java/jdk14 port built, but it doesn't work. I now have four libraries on my system: # locate libflashplayer /usr/X11R6/lib/browser_plugins/defunct/libflashplayer_linux.so /usr/X11R6/lib/browser_plugins/libflashplayer.so /usr/local/lib/flash/libflashplayer.so /usr/local/lib/linux-flashplugin6/libflashplayer.so The second one is a link to the forth one, and I guess the first one doesn't count, so really I have two. With the /usr/X11R6/bin/mozilla startup script hacked as in the handbook I get: /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Cannot open "/usr/local/lib/libflashplayer.so.1" /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Cannot open "/usr/local/lib/libflashplayer.so.1" /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Cannot open "/usr/local/lib/libflashplayer.so.1" /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Cannot open "/usr/local/lib/libflashplayer.so.1" With /usr/X11R6/bin/mozilla modified to include: LD_PRELOAD=/usr/local/lib/flash/libflashplayer.so export LD_PRELOAD mozilla refuses to start and displays this on stderr: /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/flash/libflashplayer.so: Undefined symbol "overrideShellClassRec" /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/flash/libflashplayer.so: Undefined symbol "overrideShellClassRec" /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/flash/libflashplayer.so: Undefined symbol "overrideShellClassRec" /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libmozjs.so" not found, required by "mozilla-bin" So, I'm lost in space.
