Sorry if I'm pestering everyone. For my education I'd like to learn the installation procedure for installing from an existing filesystem. I do this with my Redhat 9 machine. I have the .iso images on the second HDD, and have a kickstart diskette that loads the install from the .iso images. I boot the kickstart diskette, wait a minute or so, eject it and walk away. I come back in 30 minutes or so to a completely functional and configured system. What I need to know is: A link to a guide or howto on how to do this, I've Googled for an hour and can't find exactly what I'm looking for. The handbook just glosses over it, saying follow the instructions. What file(s) should I download and place on the second HDD of my FBSD system? I have all the .iso's Has anyone ever done an install from an existing filesystem, what happens after you point it to the full path to the files? Is it necessary to mount the filesystem containing the files before install can begin? Thanks, Charles
