However, that computer does not have an internet connection at the moment. Eventually, it will either be a router/proxy server or go through my established router/proxy server (NT Server) then to my cable modem, so I will set up an ethernet card. But, for the installation, is it ok to donload the files necessary to another computer and burn a cd for the installation? How would I go about this? I have a LinkSys Fast Ethernet 10/100 PCI for that box...does FreeBSD support that LinkSys card? Thank you for your time!
