Anyway, when I fire up mozilla I get $ Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library No running window found. Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library "The no running window" is okay, we all know, it's not a bug it's a feature, telling there ius no other mozilla open at the moment :-) but the Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library was a bit unusual to me so I set out to search google for that warning and got a couple of hits. Now I would like someone else to test it out with a 5.2.1 system and a Mozilla 1.6a Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; FreeBSD i386; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031207 (as said, packages from 5.2.1R) Copy and paste the exact message Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library into the google.com search field and you get a couple of similarly looking hits: Your page will look something like: Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library - [ Diese Seite übersetzen ] ... Pooof. With me here 100% reproducable. (Happened twice after another - I don't have an outspoken desire to test it over and over again given the weirdnesses I run into with deferred fsck then). It is a kernel FWIW that has no INET6 in it (Mozilla had some problems with INET6 in early times and ISDN (I4B) seems to have it too). That's why, primarily because of the latter (I4B) I took INET6 out for the moment. Would be interesting to hear if that is reproducable. I run tomcat 41 and apache also on that machine. That's what comes to mind. these are the loaded modules: 1 9 0xc0400000 6145e4 kernel 2 1 0xc0a15000 1da78 linux.ko 3 1 0xc0a33000 5b08 snd_ich.ko 4 2 0xc0a39000 1e58c snd_pcm.ko 5 1 0xc0a58000 51ac8 acpi.ko dmesg: Copyright (c) 1992-2004 The FreeBSD Project.
