Hi, I have an external WISECOM 56000bps Voice/Data/Fax Modem, and problems getting it to work on my FreeBSD 3.1 box. It works fine on win95. My system is up, and my modem is on, and it looks like this: CTS - on, MR ( DSR ) is on. now if I fire up either: user ppp's term, cu, tip, or minicom DTR - on, and RTS - on Now if I want to talk to the modem by simply typing the AT command waiting for an OK, the modem won't respond, or so it seems like as there is no OK echoing on my terminal, either from term, or cu, or tip. So what is going on? Tnx much, rotan. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
