I looked into this and am pretty sure it's not a GCC issue as such, but one with the applications. Two of the applications listed were vobcopy and MPlayer. I have contacted the maintainer of the vobcopy port which is 1.0.x versus 1.1.x as in some other distributions and offered to apply an update for that port if he can provide it. As for MPlayer I will reassign the report to the maintainer of that port and will be happy to forward two patches I have seen against the openSUSE package that seem to address GCC 4.x-specific issues in that port. Except that our mplayer port doesn't have a maintainer listed. How shall we proceed? Gerald @FreeBSD.org -- Gerald (Jerry) Pfeifer gerald@pfeifer.com http://www.pfeifer.com/gerald/
