3 years old now.

Easy only if you know how. Before I created this ticket, I couldn't find
anything anywhere that didn't say the issues of MySQL8 + PHP were all fixed=
 in
newer PHP.  Of course most blogs/tutorials/docs out there are for linux, not
FreeBSD.

Try googling for things like 'FAMP tutorial' and see if you can find any wh=
ere
you won't get stuck because of this issue. :(
