freeBSD 4.2 release
HP Deskjet 710C ( works in Windows, thus not broken :) )

This is what I've done:

I have the correct entries in my kernel cfg file
lpd IS running
I installed apsfilter, ran SETUP, followed instructions... Tried different drivers.
From previous advice I removed the one entry in /etc/printcap (which I have uploaded HERE) Tell me if something's wrong with it.

When I run lptest > /etc/lpt0, nothing happens.
When I try to print a test page in apsfilter, it says "could not open device" or something like that.
When I type lpr filename, the job gets queued, but nothing gets printed.

I DO have an /etc/lpt0 entry.

Whats going on?
