https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=198342 Bug ID: 198342 Summary: sysutils/pcbsd-utils-qt5 : pkg-descr is not sufficient Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: kmoore@FreeBSD.org Reporter: marino@FreeBSD.org Assignee: kmoore@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(kmoore@FreeBSD.org) Hi Kris, The description for this port is "PC-BSD QT5 Utilities". As a consumer, I don't know if these are useful outside of PC-BSD or not, what utilities it contains, what those utilities are supposed to do, etc. I think the pkg-descr file should contain information like that. Can this description be brought up to par? P.S. The reason I ask is that the port failed to build because it doesn't honor flags or build environment (i forget which). I don't even know if I should bother to provide a fix because I can't figure out what the port does. The github readme that the WWW links to provides some idea in a rather jumbled fashion but the pkg-descr should be standalone IMO -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
