$ grep "Missing package files" *
$ less bsd.port.mk

Seems you do not have all required files to generate the package.
Could it possible that you have modified some directories, f.e.
${PLIST}, ${PKGDIR} or sth. like that.
If you really don't know, could you please record all your actions
# cd /usr/ports/net/samba
# make clean
# make build
# make install
# make clean
using script(1). And it would be also nice to get other unusual
config details except the root password.
