hi, 
the graphical desktop manager does not change the theme when i run the 
gdmconfig command and neither if a try to change it manually:

gdm.conf
[greeter]
...
GraphicalTheme=happygnome

i've also tried:
GraphicalTheme=/usr/X11R6/share/gnome/gdm/themes/happygnome/
and
GraphicalTheme=/usr/X11R6/share/gnome/gdm/themes/happygnome/happygnome.xml

what could be a possible reason for this?!
