Thank you for posting this. I also am getting the same experience as you and others on the thread. I made a bugzilla issue at https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=202067 and linked to the thread here as well. Also, there is a patch to update monodevelop (to 5.5) at https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=194915. This was last modified 2014-12-19 12:38 PST. Unfortunately no one caught it. Sergey, I am CC'ing you on this.
