Message-Id: From: Pete French Date: Mon, 17 Jun 2002 12:19:10 +0100 Sender: owner-freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Just a suggestion, but should /usr/src/contrib/smbfs/examples/smbfs.sh.sample be copied to a directory where it will be run automaticaly as part of the startup by default. Either that or edit the man page for mount_smbfs to mention that this needs to be done before the example of how to mount shares from fstab will work. Currently I cant find anywhere that says you need to install this filebefore it will work, which is somewhat confusing for a new user who never had to use it from ports. Comments ? It would be nice to have it work "out of the box" so to speak. -pcf. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
