I've tried both 3.1 and 2.2.6, and after installation i get the same error. The kernel starts the boot up process, and then i get an error stating "priviliged instruction fault while in kernel mode" and it auto-reboots. I have used linux for almost a year, and after i was told by a friend how much easier freebsd is to install, and more stable to run, i am quite interested in getting this working. Can anyone tell me what is wrong and how to correct this? To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
