HI all I have just slamed into the wall. I upgraded a 2.2.7 system to 3.1release and now the named.conf file is rejected by named ... Apr 12 16:31:08 unix1 named[744]: starting. named 8.1.2 Mon Feb 15 10:10:31 GMd Apr 12 16:31:08 unix1 named[744]: /etc/namedb/named.conf:1: syntax error near ; Apr 12 16:31:08 unix1 named[745]: Ready to answer quries I get the syntax error on a file that has been running for months.
