Au contraire. The spam mitigation measures in use on this list have been discussed and disclosed many, many times. And it seems to me they are quite effective. For example: today (21 August 2017) there have been, if I recall, two spams that appeared on the list. There have been two (now three) replies. In contrast, my stupid little home mail server has received 91 spams today so far.
