Not a good solution. > Huh?! I have BIND 8.1.2 running under FreeBSD 2.1.0. I don't remember quite well what exactly I've made to make it build, but it definitely wasn't too difficult. So if you insist on running an outdated and not quite supported version of the system, be prepared to spend a couple of minutes porting modern programs to it.
