Hmm? are you talking about a SCSI device that has PCMCIA readers? There are three that I know of- MPL and Litronics make working ones and Intermart makes a broken one. What do you mean by 'proprietary'? The MPL documentation I have doesn't appear to indicate any 'proprietary' interfaces- just strange and slightly broken ones.
