-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello again, An update: I found mention of the ServerWorks OSB4 chips having a quirk with the SMBus mapping register that has been fixed in -current. Adding an entry to pci.c to apply the same quirk to the CSB5 chip enables intpm(4) to successfully attach. However, using xmbmon (from the ports) or its testsmb program instantly freezes the machine (not checked to see if this timesout). However, testpci, testhwm and testfan all seem to respond nicely. Thus, I suspect that whilst the power management is now working, the SMBus is not. I still do not know how to check the status of the SMBus :( Stewart. - -- Stewart Morgan MEng MIEE Technical Director, Nameless-UK Phone : +44 870 757 1625 | A: Nameless-UK Fax : +44 870 168 0210 | The Production House Email : stewart@nameless-uk.com | 147a Saint Michael's Hill Web : www.nameless-uk.com | Bristol PGP ID: 0xECD5CE64 | BS2 8DB - --------------------------------x--------------------------------- PGP Fingerprint: 89DE F8C3 CA14 598C 30DB 504A 3055 DDD7 ECD5 CE64 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFBeTKeMFXd1+zVzmQRAlpgAJ4na/3n48XPNZ8HfQPMOGNshOhtqQCggwqH ZgTo+rKRxoybqxsZfPdoLsA= =F1+Q -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
