Mailing lists should never received subscriber added messages..
They are a complete waste of traffic...

IMO, the only updates the mailing list should receive are created
and diff uploaded...

Some could argue that the comments should be too, but IMO, if you care
about the review, you'll subscribe yourself, and the review has all
the comments tied together...

Anything else should be not set... and this applies to ALL mailing
lists...
