I'm not truely happy about asking these sets of questions. I feel that this something I should already know how to do since I have been using FreeBSD over 2 years (not exclusively though). I'm running FreeBSD 4.0-RELEASE. Here are my config files: ppp.conf: default: set log Phase Chat LCP IPCP CCP tun command set device /dev/cuaa0 set speed 38400 set dial "ABORT BUSY ABORT NO\\sCARRIER TIMEOUT 5 \"\" AT \ OK-AT-OK ATE1Q0 OK \\dATDT\\T TIMEOUT 40 CONNECT" isp: set phone 15625084492 set timeout 0 set authname ELN/username set authkey password set ifaddr 10.0.0.1/0 10.0.0.2/0 255.255.255.0 0.0.0.0 add default HISADDR enable dns Heres the tail end of my ppp.log: ppp.log: Mar 23 15:13:11 bsd ppp[413]: tun0: Phase: deflink: Disconnected! I just can't figure out where i went wrong. Okay, now I'm wondering if it's a modem problem. I have a few other modems here I can test, but why would the modem be bad? Should be a good modem. *shrug* Joey To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
