Collecting statistics is voluntary, so it could be that more people have installed kde4 than kde3 but not the reporting tool (sysutils/bsdstats). 2. There are multiple ports which do not exist anymore but are still listed there, e.g. x11-wm/xfce with 649 users or x11/qt1 (15 users). So either these ports are still in use (!) or the data is outdated. 3. FreeBSD releases look up-to-date, but are most people still running single-core ( http://bsdstats.org/bt/cpus.html ) ? René
