In my case I have to put these lines in my XF86Config:

    Option "Protocol"    "SysMouse"
    Option "Device"      "/dev/sysmouse"
    Option "ZAXisMapping" "4 5"

And everything works fine for me. Just try it. Protocol Auto doesn't
work here correctly.
