Both failed. I am attempting to duel-boot between Windows 98 and freeBSD. Here is description of each problem... I booted into "Command Prompt Only" and loaded minimal drivers (no memory managers), then ran install.exe. When I got the black and white screen with the expanding branches, it showed 21 conflictions. 10 in storage, 8 in network, and 3 in input. I have a Western Digital 3-GIG HD, no network (other than DUN), and a MouseSystems ProAgio mouse. When I booted from the floppy disk that the CD created, I let the startup menu choose the default option. Then the screen filled with "Error: D:0x0 C:22 H:1 S:14". Does this all mean that I can't install because of my fairly common Western Digital HD? What, if anything, can I do about it?
