Hi Dave,
You seem to have a point here. I tested your command and the results are:
[admin@aft:~]> ls -l /usr/share/man/{cat,man}8/sendmail.8*
-rw-r--r-- 1 man wheel 7347 Dec 9 00:35
/usr/share/man/cat8/sendmail.8.gz
-r--r--r-- 1 root wheel 6434 Mar 21 21:22
/usr/share/man/man8/sendmail.8.gz
Sorry the lines were too long but what matters is the fact that the man
pages are actually there. So then there is a reason these man pages aren't
displaying. What could the reason be??
