I beleive I ran into similar problems with main last year and I am still se=
eing
occasional "blackouts"; I believe back then I could trigger traffic by send=
ing
packets from one specific part of jail / host / remote to another and that
would hold until the entry expired but I have no more notes on this.

I am also adding kp@ given bridge ...
