Failing that, since this is a laptop, try asking in -mobile. You might also want to provide a bit more information. What IRQ's is the Linksys trying to use? Why are you trying to do an FTP install if you have the installtion CD? Have you checked some of the various guides to make sure that your laptop dosen't have known problems (it is fairly old, while FreeBSD has been around a while, it seems to me that it's Laptop support is understandably a lot newer, and hence not as tested.)
