 * The script uses ports@freebsd.org when there's no MAINTAINER line in
 * the Makefile.  However, 109 ports have MAINTAINER=ports@freebsd.org
 * lines in their Makefiles.  I guess this is because there's no clear
 * policy on what to do about MAINTAINER-less ports.

The policy is clear (as stated in the handbook), set MAINTAINER to
"ports@freebsd.org" if the porter doesn't want to be the maintainer.

Whether that makes sense or not, is of course debatable. ;)
