I have used about three different versions (?) of the sup program compiled my self and out of packages. This last attempt was from the sup program founf in the very current packages tree. I am using the supfile found in pub/FreeBSD/FreeBSD-current on cdrom.com here. Any help is appreciated. % sup -N -v supfile SUP 8.26 (4.3 BSD) for file supfile at May 17 14:38:13 SUP Upgrade of base at Wed May 17 14:48:19 1995 SUP: Error reading signon reply from fileserver SUP: Upgrade of base aborted at May 17 14:48:19 1995 SUP: Read error on network: Connection reset by peer SUP: Network write timed out SUP Upgrade of bin at Wed May 17 15:00:32 1995 SUP: Error reading signon reply from fileserver SUP: Upgrade of bin aborted at May 17 15:00:32 1995 -David Langford langfod@maui.com -- /--------------------------------------------------------------------\ | David Langford - Kihei, Maui, Hawaii - langfod@maui.com | | Maui Research and Technology Center - Network Manager | \--------------------------------------------------------------------/
