It works now. I used the bash method and then=20 set up a couple of aliases: alias french=3D'/usr/sbin/kbdcontrol -l fr_CA.iso.acc.kbd' alias english=3D'/usr/sbin/kbdcontrol -l us.iso.acc.kbd' PM
