According to an announcement of Gimp-Print developer,
stp driver is no more an officially supported part of
Gimp-Print. On the other hand, apsfilter has not been
updated for long time.

Most easiest way of using Gimp-Print is switching to CUPS.
More conventional (but a bit time-consuming) way is
writing filter script by hand with ijs driver in
Ghostscript. Detailed instruction how to switch can be
found at additional documents included in Gimp-Print port.
