Well, I tried to treat it as a QIC to not do multiple filemarks, but I've
been really beaten up on by an owner of such a drive saying that this
isn't so.

What I'm trying to do is to maybe get one myself- and not relying on
indirect reports. The marketing info isn't germane. What I need to do is
to look at a manual at least. Between being ill and having some other
commitments, it'll take me a day or two to get to this.
