There's Star Office (kinda slow because of Linux emulation, but it has a decent GUI), there's Lyx which is an almost-WYSIWYG application for TeTeX, there's Emacs and finally Vi. For printing graphics and documents on a d matrix printer (I'm assuming that it does not support postscript natively) install apsfilter.
