As I recall, the 2nd edition was based on the 2.x branch. I remember getting the 2.2.7 CD included when I bought the book. The 3rd edition was based on the 3.x branch of FreeBSD. As for a 4th edition.... you'll need to ask Greg Lehey. -Otter > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG > [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Anne-Sophie > Hombert > Sent: Sunday, February 18, 2001 3:29 PM > To: freebsd-questions@freebsd.org > Subject: "The complete freeBSD" 2d vs 3rd edition > > > Hi, > > What are the main additions in "The complete FreeBSD", third > edition vis-a-vis the second edition? > > Also, is a 4th version planned soon? > > Thanks, > > Anne > > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
