Heh, I looked at ftp1-9.freebsd.org in the US and ftp.internat.freebsd.org in South Africa before I gave up. Happily, my need for 3.0-RELEASE is gone since I have tested RealServer8 broadcasting an encoded feed fine on 4.8-STABLE with the 3.0 compatibility stuff. Very cool. Thanks all.
