Can you quantify that?  I'm very curious about the performance impact of
CAM.

I wouldn't expect it to go upwards either.  Can you send me a dmesg +
the appropriate messages from /var/log/messages privately?  I'd like to
look into why this might happen.

Jordan was talking about doing this at one point.  I don't if that is
still the case.
