Personally, I've had bad experiences with Seagate anything, and Intell motherboards. You really can't go wrong with an Asustek motherboard though. (I just wish they still made SCSI cards....:( Quantum Atlas drives have been great for me, ftp.cdrom.com runs mostly that type. But I did have a long conversation with someone else who has had problems with them about 8 months ago.
