READ THE PAM DOCUMENTATION!! IT TELLS YOU THE RIGHT WAY TO DO THIS!!

THEN DO IT PROPERLY.

If you need to change the way pam works (rather than relying on undocumented
internal behaviour), then we really want to hear from you, BUT WITH PATCHES
UP FRONT, AND DECENT EXPLANATIONS AS WELL!
