Can anyone tell me or point me to any information on timeflies - tcp & udp port 1362? I came across it during a routine nmap scan of my system and I have no idea what it is. It's listed in /etc/services but I can't find out what it is, what it does, and why it was running (albeit briefly) on my system. Also, is there any way to disable port 111 (sun rpc) and is this a good idea to do? Please respond to my email address, I don't subscribe to the list. Thanks in advance.
