Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG hi i copied the netscape port to my msdos partition i would like to know step by step how to copy the file over to the FREEBSD side so i can install it. jason wells sent me a e-mail how to do this but i just aint getting it this is what he sent: #mount -t /dev/dos_disc_device_name_here /mnt 1st of all i tried a thousand combinations trying to execute this command but i still dont know what to exactly type at my keyboard to make this work I dont know what to put in the dos disc device name area?????? and i dont know what all those space_ etc is suppose to mean.I think if you tell me exactly what keys to execute this command "then" i might just get how this all works .. 2nd ) My last Question is when i put in a command Lets say mount -t it gives me a usage option.I dont know what to exactly type at my key- board to make the commands work . I feel like im putting a puzzel together and having fun except! im missing the one piece of puzzle to finish "and" have the picture make sense.Hopefully you can direct me to the missing piece so i may enjoy this great operating system.
