I've heard it said that this could be a maintenance issue, since braces will need to be added if any other statements need to be grouped with that condition. Isn't it a good idea to add them the first time the statement is written, rather than counting on a future maintainer to do so? NOTE: Please CC me, as I am not currently subscribed.
