You should be setting this drive in LBA mode. The UDMA33 suggest that either you have the wrong cable, or UDMA66 negotiation was unsuccessful > And if I install whis this parameters, after installation frequently write: > UDMA ICRC WRITE ERROR blk#xxxxxx This looks like a hardware problem.
