I am installing 4.2-Release from CD. Does this version of FreeBSD support the Dell controller? I've got 4 disks in there, I'd hate to have to give up the hardware RAID for a vinum stripe set. It looks like its made by Adaptec, a 7880 shows up at the beginning with my SCSI CDROM on it, but the RAID controller tells me its the 'Dell PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller 2/si'.... Any ideas? Or do I just vinum the box? thanks, Peter To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hardware" in the body of the message
