We'll let's say you have an UW SCSI card onboard, like my PPro200 does.
now say I want to get an Ultra2 drive .. if I want to take full advantage,
need to buy a new adapter.. but oops, can't pull the on-MB adapter; it's
wasted.

Basically, you can't pull it and swap it around like you can an external
card.
