Greetings everyone,

It seems with FreeBSD 3.3-RELEASE and pidentd compiled in, when
logged in as root, the remote system will detect the username & hostname
correctly for telnet, rlogin, rsh but will fail on finger with
nobody@venus.GAIANET.NET on the destination machine FreeBSD 3.2R using
tcpwrappers. finger when logged in as anyone other than root will report
vince@venus.GAIANET.NET. Does anyone have any ideas? Actually, it even
does this on the same machine.

root@venus [1:09pm][/usr/home/vince] >> finger @venus
